UNDER THE COVERS is a rock ‘n roll cover band on a mission. Formed in 2006 out of Bel Air, Maryland, this group of energetic and compelling musicians has already caused a serious ripple effect in the Baltimore-metropolitan music scene and has its sights set on rocking out the mid-Atlantic region for years to come.Locked and loaded, these 5 young men will bring their unique blend high-energy rock covers, uncompromising stage presence, and dirty rock appeal to any venue leaving the audience screaming for more.
CRUSHING DAY - Sat. 3-4:30
Since 1997 Crushing Day has been in the forefront of the Baltimore music scene, playing over 200 shows per year. Crushing Day has repeatedly finished atop the 'Maryland Music Monthly' publication's reader's poll as the one of the top modern rock bands in the region. In 2001 and 2002 they won the honor, finishing first in a Baltimore/Washington, DC region that boasts an abundance of music talent.
TRIPWIRE - Sat. 5-6:30

These guys are tight, not referencing an old urban slang term used for cool, but rather the way they play their songs. The slick riffs from their guitarist Steve Wozniack (no relation to this guy), coupled with the sharp, plodding bass lines via Matt Battaglia, and the hammering percussion courtesy of drummer Ray Snyder made for an exciting and fun set that was consistent and full of energy. This, combined with the intensity and variation in vocal styles of lead singer Bruce Baldwin crafted a great show.  The real star of the night, however, had to be violinist Eugene Yun, who stole the show by playing an absolutely sick electric violin during “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”

The kind of tunes these guys play – damn near everything. From Alice in Chains to Metallica, from Cypress Hill to Journey, these guys were all over the place and back again.

NEVER NEVER - Sun. 3-4:30
Never Never was formed in 1987 out of the post-Ravyns (Raised on the Radio) project, Rob Fahey's Word of Mouth.

Kevin 'Spike' Settles played drums and sang in several of the Girard's-era new wave bands (L7 and Lab Animals) and on many nights opened for his future bandmates.  (Girard’s was a popular downtown nightclub of the time.)  In Word of Mouth, Spike played drums and handled many of the high vocal harmonies and a few lead vocals, and occasionally fronted the band while someone sat in on drums.

Word of Mouth guitarist (and former Ravyn) David Bell approached Spike on New Year's Eve, 1987, about fronting a new band that would write some songs and cover all the coolest 70's bands: mostly Led Zeppelin, but also Aerosmith, Van Halen, Bad Co., Doors, etc.  It was originally conceived as a "for fun" project.   David had a name for the new band: Never Never.
